Forks Township has grown fast as a residential suburb of Easton. We design and engineer additions, second stories and renovations for its homes.
Forks Township covers about 12 square miles of Northampton County, founded in 1754 as a farming community between Bushkill Creek and the Delaware River and named for the fork of the Delaware and Lehigh. Its population nearly doubled between 2000 and 2020, and since the 1990s it has been mostly a residential suburb of Easton. Villages include Chestnut Hill, Churchville, Keplers Mill, Sandts Eddy, Uhlers Station and Zucksville.
Much of the housing is newer, built during that growth, and owners are now finishing basements, adding sunrooms and primary suites and opening floor plans. Our engineers work with the engineered framing common in newer homes.

In Pennsylvania, building permits are reviewed under the Pennsylvania Uniform Construction Code by the township or borough, zoning comes first, and a project that needs relief from the zoning ordinance goes to the Zoning Hearing Board.
Properties along the Delaware and Bushkill Creek may be near mapped flood areas. We check flood mapping before design.
Many neighborhoods have homeowner associations with their own rules. We design to those as well as township zoning.
However your project is approved, we deliver signed and sealed drawings to you, support you and your contractor through the permit submission and answer the building department's review comments in house. Read how a project moves from consultation to close out on our process page.
