Steven is a dual-licensed engineer and architect, a combination that shapes how every Konstruct | Residential project comes together. When a homeowner plans an addition, opens up a floor plan, or builds new, the architecture and the structure are worked out side by side from the first sketch, so the design that gets approved is the design that gets built.
He founded Konstruct in 2020 to bring architecture, engineering, and consulting into one practice. As architect and engineer of record across the New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania region, he has personally designed and engineered complete architectural and structural systems, and he brings that same rigor to the scale of a single family home.
Before founding Konstruct, Steven played a key role in Bala Consulting Engineers' expansion into New York City, managing high-value multidisciplinary projects. Today he reviews the structural approach on residential work, from beam and header sizing to foundations for additions, so homeowners get drawings their contractor can price and build with confidence.
